The aim of Mediation Works is to offer individual or group advice in a neutral and confidential environment when bullying, moral and sexual harassment arises.
Mediation Works offers an opportunity for all parties concerned by the conflict to express themselves freely and restore dialogue. This will allow them to find a solution and common ground.
The mediation takes place in two phases, first individually followed by a group session with both parties.
BULLYING
Calling on the services of a professional mediator to defuse workplace disputes or solve problems caused by harassment can produce a “win-win” solution which benefits everyone, employers as well as employees.
The symptoms of bullying come in different forms: verbal threats, refusing to communicate, deliberately forgetting to pass on information, spreading rumours. Workplace bullying is insidious and can result in the victim being considered the villain.
Mediation Works offers solution by initiating a discussion with each party concerned, first separately, then together to find a common ground so that both sides can work together.
WORKPLACE CONFLICTS
The consequences of workplace conflicts can be devastating both for the victim and for the image of the company concerned. It can result in time wasted, demotivation of the work force, prolonged absences, depression and frequent changes of staff. An employer should act and react rapidly. Mediation Works can estimate the financial cost of conflicts in the workplace for an employer.
CONFLICTS WITH NEIGHBOURS
Conflicts with neighbours, such as noise or disagreements about territorial limits of property, often lead to confrontation and stalemate. Mediation Works can help to defuse anger and clear a path towards mutually acceptable solutions and restore harmony.
