What is bullying?

Bullying can be defined in several ways.  Verbal abuse, written abuse, non-communication, whispering behind colleague’s backs, spreading rumours.

Is there a difference between bullying and harassment?

Not really, moral harassment is the official term.

What is sexual harassment?

Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favours, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that tends to create a hostile or offensive work environment.

Conflicts with neighbours?

Disagreement with one or several neighbours concerning for example, noise, hygiene or territorial limitations of property.

When should I contact a mediator?

As soon as possible to solve the situation before it becomes inflamed.

What happens during a Mediation?

A mediation initially starts with an individual discussion with each person concerned.

This is followed by a group discussion in which both parties can explain, express their points of view, and through questioning by the mediator, find a path to a mutually acceptable compromise.

Is a mediation bound by the professional secrecy?

All discussions remain strictly confidential.
